Why Use Facebook Ads?

Even though you classify yourself as a writer, you are also a business. Your books, your website, your blog, and your social media presence are all part of your marketing strategy. It’s time you start thinking like a business. Over 3 million companies regularly use Facebook to market their products and services. Utilizing Facebook advertising enables you to reach an extensive audience in a short period of time and with almost any size budget.

Facebook allows advertisers to use granular targeting methods. For example, its specific geo-targeting makes it possible to target by city, state, region, country, and radius. Advertisers can target by gender, age, interests, likes, occupation, education level, and much more. One of the most beneficial targeting methods on Facebook is interest targeting. Interest targeting lets you pick specific pages and categories where you’re most likely to find new readers. Facebook has more than 1.7 billion monthly active users and an average of 1.1 billion daily active users* which means you have access to over 1 billion potential new readers.

Advertising takes a lot of time and energy. Despite Facebook’s many capabilities, it can be difficult to navigate. Working with us lets you to spend more time doing what you love — write.

“Creating Facebook Ads with Jessie at Write Reach was easy, fun, and super successful. It was wonderful to have a partner in book marketing instead of trying to figure it out on my own. The launch of my new book exceeded my expectations and I was so thrilled and happy with its success that I immediately hired Jessie for a second, terrific campaign!”

How it Works

To start, I will make sure I have all the necessary information in order to draft a campaign including budget and duration. I’ll ask you a few questions to determine whether or not tracking is possible (sometimes it’s not). Once I have the basics, I will work with you to determine your campaign objective, targeting, and ad format.

If you already have creative you’d like to use, I’ll be happy to use it. However, it must align with Facebook’s guidelines in order to receive approval. I will also make recommendations about the creative provided. If you’re unable or don’t want to provide creative, I will create the ads for you. Once I’ve finished creating the ads I will send you a draft for you to proof, we will make changes as necessary, and then I will optimize the campaign.

How does payment work?

Our services require an upfront payment through PayPal. Monthly services require payment due by the first of every month. Your Facebook ad spend will be billed on the last day of the month and is due by the 7th of the following month. A $25 late fee will be added on to any payment not made by the scheduled date.

Are payment plans available?

Unfortunately, no. Your service payment is due on the first of each month. Your Facebook ad spend will be billed on the last day of the month and is due by the 7th of the following month. A $25 late fee will be added on to any payment not made by the scheduled date.

Is this worth the investment?

You hear it all the time: publishing is a business. Whether you’re traditionally or indie published you have to do most of your own marketing in order to succeed as an author. We want to help. We started Holmes Publishing House to give authors a team to rely on so they don’t have to go it alone. It can be pricey to hire a marketing or PR agency to manage your promotion full-time. Our various pricing allows us to offer management services as well as give you the tools to prepare you to effectively manage your own campaigns

Can you guarantee this will increase my book sales?

Unfortunately, no. However, marketing and branding are an essential part of any successful author. Word of mouth is the number one way to sell your book and that’s what our business does — we get the word out. We will work with you to discover the best way to promote your work. We want to see you succeed and we promise to do our best to ensure you have that chance.

How much will this cost me?

We offer two packages. Package A is $150 per month; Package B is $250 per month. We only offer services by monthly fee. We do not require monthly subscription. A new contract and bill are sent at the start of every month. Services do not renew automatically.

I’m looking for someone to design my cover/interior. Can you help?

Our expertise lies in working with authors to market their products through online promotion. We have a team of designers we frequently work with and would be more than happy to give you recommendations. Email us to let us know what kind of designer you’re looking for and we’ll send you some more information.
